REMOVE
GOVERNOR
ARM
ASSEMBLY,
METERING VALVE, AND SPRING LINK.
a.
Prepare a bath of clean calibrating fluid in which
to place removed parts.
b.
As an assembly, remove governor arm assembly
(58), metering valve (59), and spring link (60).
c.
Disconnect and remove spring link (60) from
metering valve (59) by manually compressing
spring link.
d.
Place metering valve (59) in a bath of clean
calibrating fluid.
e.
Remove spring (61) from spring link (60) and
governor
arm
assembly
(58).
Discard
compression helical spring.
f.
Separate governor arm assembly (58) from
spring link (60).
