Do notlower the screed onto the cribbing.Cribbing may have to berepositioned during alignmentprocedure to allow for placement ofstraightedge and to viewmeasurementpoints.i.Place straightedge (10) across trailing edge ofboth extension screeds at A-A. The maximumheight difference allowed between the left andright extension screeds is 0.060 in. (1,5 mm).j.If measurement is less than 0.060 in. (1,5 mm)across A-A, go to step 2.k.If measurement is greater than 0.060 in. (1,5mm), it will be necessary to align extensionscreed guide shaft supports.l.Start paving machine engine and retractextension screed that is out of alignmenthalfway per TM 5-3895373-10.m.Shut down paving machine and remove keyfrom ignition per TM 5-3895-373-10.
