Avoid prolonged exposure.Eye protection and rubber glovesmust be worn when working withhydraulic oil.NOTEFilter bowl may be full of hydraulicoil.a.Place machinery wiping towels under filterbowl (5).b.Remove filter bowl (5) and drain hydraulicoil into a drip pan. Keep filter bowl uprightduring removal.c.Remove filter element (6).d.Dispose of hydraulic oil, contaminatedmachinery wiping towels, and filterelement in accordance with localprocedures.CAUTIONUse caution when removing sealsand o-rings. Scratched or dented sealgrooves can cause bypass leakage.Do not use excessive force whenremoving seals and o-rings.
