Bolt-On Screed Extension Vertical Adjustment Screw Removal -- Continued.
1. Remove locking nut (Figure 2, Item 6), screw (Figure 2, Item 9), and flat washer (Figure 2, Item 7) from
bracket Figure 2, Item 8). Discard locking nut.
2. Remove two bolts (Figure 2, Item 1) and locking nuts (Figure 2, Item 4) from upper housing (Figure 2, Item 3).
Discard locking nuts.
3. Remove bolt-on screed extension vertical adjustment screw (Figure 2, Item 5) down and out of bolt-on screed
extension (Figure 2, Item 2).

Bolt-On Screed Extension Vertical Adjustment Screw Installation
1. Install bolt-on screed extension vertical adjustment screw (Figure 2, Item 5) into bolt-on screed extension
(Figure 2, Item 2).
2. Install two bolts (Figure 2, Item 1) and new locking nuts (Figure 2, Item 4) into upper housing (Figure 2, Item
3).
3. Install new locking nut (Figure 2, Item 6), screw (Figure 2, Item 9), and flat washer (Figure 2, Item 7) into
bracket (Figure 2, Item 8).
