Conveyor Idler Assembly Removal -- Continued.
1. Remove two grease lines (Figure 1, Item 2) from grease fittings (Figure 1, Item 9) by pressing in fitting end
and removing grease line.
2. Loosen two adjustment bolts (Figure 1, Item 3) from conveyor idler assembly (Figure 1, Item 4).
WARNING
The conveyor idler assembly weighs 109 pounds (lb) (49 kilograms (kg)). Use a suitable lifting
device. Failure to comply may cause injury or death to personnel.
CAUTION
Properly support the item being lifted. Failure to comply may cause damage to equipment.
3. Remove four bolts (Figure 1, Item 8), lock washers (Figure 1, Item 7), flat washers (Figure 1, Item 6), retaining
plate (Figure 1, Item 5), and conveyor idler assembly (Figure 1, Item 4) from mounting point (Figure 1, Item 1)
with assistance. Discard lock washers.

1. Install four bolts (Figure 1, Item 8), new lock washers (Figure 1, Item 7), flat washers (Figure 1, Item 6),
retaining plate (Figure 1, Item 5), and conveyor idler assembly (Figure 1, Item 4) onto mounting point (Figure
1, Item 1) with assistance.
2. Tighten two adjustment bolts (Figure 1, Item 3) onto conveyor idler assembly (Figure 1, Item 4).
3. Install two grease lines (Figure 1, Item 2) onto grease fittings (Figure 1, Item 9) by pressing in fitting end and
inserting grease line.
