1. Install battery-charging alternator (Figure 3, Item 6) onto mounting bracket (Figure 3, Item 2) using upper
mounting bolt (Figure 3, Item 5) and flange nut (Figure 3, Item 1) finger-tight.
2. Install lower mounting bolt (Figure 3, Item 4) through linking bar (Figure 3, Item 3) and into battery-charging
alternator (Figure 3, Item 6) finger-tight.
3. Torque upper mounting bolt (Figure 3, Item 5) to 30 foot-pounds (ft-lb) (40 Newton meters (Nm)).
4. Torque lower mounting bolt (Figure 3, Item 4) to 212 inch-pounds (in-lb) (24 Nm).
