CAUTION
Tag and label all electrical wires and connectors prior to removal. Electrical wires must be
installed correctly for proper operation. Failure to comply may cause damage to equipment.
1. Disconnect electrical connector (Figure 1, Item 5) from battery-charging alternator (Figure 1, Item 3).
2. Remove bolt (Figure 1, Item 10), lock washer (Figure 1, Item 11), and ground wire (Figure 1, Item 1) from
ground weldment (Figure 1, Item 2). Discard lock washer.
3. Remove nut (Figure 1, Item 7), lock washer (Figure 1, Item 8), power wire (Figure 1, Item 9), and spacer
(Figure 1, Item 6) from stud (Figure 1, Item 4). Discard lock washer.
