Exhaust Manifold Installation
1. Apply coat of anti-seize lubricant to eight bolts (Figure 1, Item 4).
2. Install eight bolts (Figure 1, Item 4), sleeve spacers (Figure 1, Item 3), exhaust manifold (Figure 1, Item 5),
and four new exhaust manifold gaskets (Figure 1, Item 1) onto cylinder head (Figure 1, Item 2) finger-tight.

CAUTION
Bolts must be tightened equally and in the sequence shown in Figure 2 to avoid twisting the
manifold. Failure to comply may cause damage to equipment.
3. Torque bolts (Figure 1, Item 4) to 33 foot-pounds (ft-lb) (45 Newton meters (Nm)) in sequence shown in
Figure 2.
END OF TASK
FOLLOW-ON TASK
1. Install turbocharger (WP 0347).
2. Verify proper operation.
3. Dispose of soiled rags In Accordance With (IAW) local standard operating procedures (SOP).
