INTAKE AIR HEATER REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION
Intake Air Heater Removal

1. Remove V-clamp band (Figure 1, Item 2), intake air elbow (Figure 1, Item 1), and O-ring (Figure 1, Item 3)
from intake air heater housing (Figure 1, Item 5). Discard O-ring.
2. Remove nut (Figure 1, Item 10), flat washer (Figure 1, Item 9), and two wires (Figure 1, Item 8) from terminal
stud (Figure 1, Item 7).
3. Remove terminal stud (Figure 1, Item 7) and nylon spacer (Figure 1, Item 6) from intake air heater housing
(Figure 1, Item 5).
4. Remove set screw (Figure 1, Item 11) from intake air heater housing (Figure 1, Item 5).
5. Remove two housing bolts (Figure 1, Item 12) and intake air heater (Figure 1, Item 4) from intake air heater
housing (Figure 1, Item 5).
