Fuel Injector Solenoid Wiring and Pass-Through Connector Removal

CAUTION
Tag and label fuel injector solenoid wires prior to removal. Fuel injector solenoid wires must be
installed correctly for proper operation. Failure to comply may cause damage to equipment.
NOTE
Removing fuel injector solenoid wires includes removal of the pass-through connector attached to
the wires. Each pass-through connector is wired to two fuel injectors. The front pass-through
connector is wired to cylinders number 1 and number 2. The rear pass-through connector is wired
to cylinders number 3 and number 4.
1. Remove four nuts (Figure 6, Item 1) from cylinder head, and disconnect four fuel injector solenoid wires
(Figure 5, Item 3) from four solenoid (Figure 6, Item 2) studs.
