WARNING
Be sure area surrounding BMPM is clear of personnel and objects before moving the unit. Sound
unit horn before moving unit from stopped position. Turn on beacon when unit is in motion.
Failure to comply may cause injury or death to personnel or damage to equipment.
13. Start the BMPM engine and raise engine throttle to half speed (TM 5-3895-385-10).
14. Press the 2 key (Figure 3, Item 2) to enter the threshold and straight tracking calibration screen.
15. Set the RUN/STOP toggle switch to the RUN position on the control pedestal to be calibrated (TM 5-3895-
385-10).
16. Press the OK key (Figure 6, Item 2) to start threshold and straight tracking calibration.
17. Move the left joystick forward until the left track beings moving forward slightly (TM 5-3895-385-10).
18. Set the RUN/STOP toggle switch from the RUN position to the STOP position and back to the RUN position
(TM 5-3895-385-10).
19. Move the left joystick to the neutral position (TM 5-3895-385-10).
20. Move the left joystick reverse until the left track beings moving backward slightly (TM 5-3895-385-10).
