Screed Extension Vertical Attack Angle Adjustment Screw Removal -- Continued.
NOTE
It may be necessary to turn lower screw housing counterclockwise until there is no more room,
then repeat steps 3, 4, and 5, then continue with step 6.
6. Remove bolt (Figure 1, Item 8), flat washer (Figure 1, Item 5), and locking nut (Figure 1, Item 6) from bracket
(Figure 1, Item 7). Discard locking nut.
7. Remove lower screw housing (Figure 1, Item 9) from screed extension vertical attack angle adjustment screw
(Figure 1, Item 1).
8. Remove jam nut (Figure 1, Item 10) and nut (Figure 1, Item 11) from screed extension vertical attack angle
adjustment screw (Figure 1, Item 1).
9. Remove screed extension vertical attack angle adjustment screw (Figure 1, Item 1) from flight screw bearing
(Figure 1, Item 3) and front extension hinge (Figure 1, Item 14).
