1. Remove bolt (Figure 2, Item 3), flat washer (Figure 2, Item 2), and flat washer (Figure 2, Item 4) from
walkboard.
2. Remove rubber handle (Figure 2, Item 6), spring (Figure 1, Item 1), and latch (Figure 1, Item 5) from
walkboard. Discard spring and latch.
3. Install new spring (Figure 1, Item 1) and latch (Figure 1, Item 5) onto walkboard.
4. Install rubber handle (Figure 2, Item 6) onto latch (Figure 1, Item 5).
5. Install bolt (Figure 2, Item 3), flat washer (Figure 2, Item 2), and flat washer (Figure 2, Item 4) onto walkboard.
FOLLOW-ON TASK
1. Remove lifting device.
2. Set BATTERY DISCONNECT switch to ON (TM 5-3895-385-10).
