ASSEMBLE.
1. INSTALL SHAFTS, DOWEL KEYS, GEARS, AND
RETAINING RINGS ONTO SPACER PLATE.
WARNING
Hydraulic
oil
can
be
moderately
flammable and can be an irritant to
the
skin,
eyes,
and
respiratory
system. Avoid prolonged exposure.
Eye protection and rubber gloves
must be worn when working with
hydraulic oil.
a.
Dip all metal spacer plate parts being assembled
in clean hydraulic oil prior to assembly.
b.
Install shafts (28) through bearings (26) in
spacer plate (22).
WARNING
Use care when installing retaining
rings. Retaining rings are under
spring
tension
and
can
act
as
projectiles when released and could
cause severe eye injury.
c.
Use snap ring pliers and install inner retaining
rings (27) onto shaft (28).
NOTE
Illustration
shown
is
for
auger/conveyor
and
valve
and
cylinder flow dividers. If tow point
flow divider gear and shaft assembly
is being assembled, metal balls will
be installed on shaft instead of dowel
keys. Procedure is the units.
NOTE
Gears shown are for auger/conveyor
and valve and cylinder flow dividers.
Gears for tow point flow divider are
narrower
than
those
in
auger/
conveyor and valve and cylinder flow
dividers. Procedure for installation is
the same for all same for all units.

Install gears (29) on each shaft (28).
d.
Install dowel keys (30) or metal balls (31) on
each shaft (28). f. Use snap ring pliers and
install outer retaining rings (27).
