The use of theshim is determined when installingthe 2 ft auger and fender extensionon the paving machine to ensure theaugers are in a straight line.d.Remove bearing mount (12) and shim (13) fromextension fender (8). A shim may not bepresent.e.Loosen set screws (14) on bearing unit (15).f.Remove bearing mount (12) from 2 ft extensionshaft (16).2. DISASSEMBLE BEARING MOUNT.a.Remove hex nuts (17), lockwashers (18), andhex head cap screws (19).
