Never smoke whenusing solvent; the flashpoint for TypeIII cleaning solvent is 200°F (93,3°C).Failure to do so may result in injuryor death to personnel.If personnel become dizzy whileusing cleaning solvent, immediatelyget fresh air and medical help. Ifsolvent contacts skin or clothes,flush with cold water. If solventcontacts eyes, flush eyes with waterand get immediate medical attention.a.Clean all metal parts using cleaning solvent anda cleaning cloth. Use a wire scratch brush toremove buildup deposits.Thread locking compound solventcan cause eye damage. Wear safetygoggles/glasses when using. Avoidcontact with eyes. If solvent contactseyes, flush eyes with water and getimmediate medical attention.b.Use thread locking compound solvent to cleanall hex head cap screws. Dry with a clean,cleaning cloth.2.CLEAN MOUNTING SURFACES.a.Clean all mounting surfaces exposed by removalof flashings or scrapers with cleaning solventand a cleaning cloth.
