TM 5-3895-373-10CAUTIONDuring removal of outer extensionscreed plate, During removal of outerextension screed plate, ensure thatthe spacers and plate spacers aroundthe studs securing the screed plate tothe frame are not allowed to move orfall from the stud. If spacers or platespacers are moved and not returnedto their initial position on the screedplate, a full screed alignment isrequired on installation of the outerextension screed plate.k.Remove outer extension screed plate (21) byremoving self-locking nuts (22) and flat washers(23). Carefully lower and remove extensionscreed plate. If spacers or plate spacers fall offof extension screed plate and cannot bereplaced to their original position, a full screedalignment must be performed when installed.l.Secure spacers (24 and 25) and plate spacers(26) onto removed outer extension screed plate(21) with flat washers (23) and self-locking nuts(22).2-84
