Torque Hub Removal -- Continued.
WARNING
The torque hub hydraulic motor weighs 62 lb (28 kg). Two personnel or a suitable lifting device is
necessary to lift component. Failure to comply may cause injury or death to personnel.
CAUTION
Properly support the item being lifted. Failure to comply may cause damage to equipment.
NOTE
Some gear oil will leak out of torque hub when disconnecting or connecting torque hub hydraulic
motor. Have a drain pan and rags in place to capture oil.
8. Remove two bolts (Figure 3, Item 5), lock washers (Figure 3, Item 6), and torque hub hydraulic motor (Figure
3, Item 4) from torque hub (Figure 3, Item 8) with assistance. Discard lock washers.
WARNING
The torque hub weighs 235 pounds (lb) (107 kilograms (kg)). Use a suitable lifting device. Failure
to comply may cause injury or death to personnel.

NOTE
There is always one mounting point not used to secure the torque hub to the BMPM. This is done
intentionally by the manufacturer.
9. Remove 16 bolts (Figure 3, Item 2), lock washers (Figure 3, Item 1), torque hub hydraulic motor (Figure 3,
Item 4), O-ring (Figure 3, Item 3), and torque hub (Figure 3, Item 8) from mounting point (Figure 3, Item 7)
with assistance. Discard lock washers and O-ring.
10. Remove 18 bolts (Figure 3, Item 9), lock washers (Figure 3, Item 10), and track sprocket (Figure 3, Item 11)
from torque hub (Figure 3, Item 8) with assistance. Discard lock washers.
