Align Torque Hub
Figure 1. Torque Hub.
1. Start Bituminous Material Paving Machine (BMPM) engine (TM 5-3895-385-10).
2. Drive BMPM so the fill plug (Figure 1, Item 1) is at the 12 o clock position.
3. Stop BMPM engine (TM 5-3895-385-10).
4. Set BATTERY DISCONNECT switch to OFF (TM 5-3895-385-10).
Check Torque Hub Oil
1. Align torque hub (perform steps 1 4 of Align Torque Hub task).
2. Position drain pan below check plug (Figure 1, Item 2).
3. Remove check plug (Figure 1, Item 2).
4. Check oil level is just below check plug (Figure 1, Item 2), and fill oil as necessary if low (perform steps 1 5
of Fill Torque Hub Oil task).
5. Install check plug (Figure 1, Item 2).
