TWO PIN CONNECTOR REPAIR

NOTE
Steps to repair connectors are the same, but the number of wires in connector may vary.
1. Remove wedge lock (Figure 8, Item 2) from connector (Figure 8, Item 1).
2. Remove terminal (Figure 8, Item 3) and wire (Figure 8, Item 5) from connector (Figure 8, Item 1).
3. Cut and remove terminal (Figure 8, Item 3) from wire (Figure 8, Item 5).
4. Remove one-quarter of an inch (6 mm) of insulation (Figure 8, Item 4) from end of wire (Figure 8, Item 5).
NOTE
Ensure all strands of wire are inside terminal when installing.
5. Install terminal (Figure 8, Item 3) to wire (Figure 8, Item 5), and crimp terminal.
6. Insert terminal (Figure 8, Item 3) and wire (Figure 8, Item 5) into connector (Figure 8, Item 1) until a click is
felt.
7. Install wedge lock (Figure 8, Item 2) into connector (Figure 8, Item 1)
