Screed Raise and Lower Hydraulic Solenoid Coil Removal -- Continued.
NOTE
The procedure for installation and removal of the hydraulic solenoid coil is the same whether
being performed on the screed raise (Figure 1, Item 3) or screed lower hydraulic solenoid coil
(Figure 1 Item 6), with the exception of W10 J18 being attached to screed lower hydraulic
solenoid coil. Screed raise hydraulic solenoid coil shown.
1. Remove W10 J17 (Figure 1, Item 1) from screed raise hydraulic solenoid coil (Figure 1, Item 3).
CAUTION
Tag and label electrical wires prior to removal. Electrical wires must be installed correctly for
proper operation. Failure to comply may cause damage to equipment.
Cover openings in hydraulic manifold after removing parts to keep dirt and debris from
entering openings. Failure to comply may cause damage to equipment.
2. Remove nut (Figure 1, Item 2), screed raise hydraulic solenoid coil (Figure 1, Item 3), and 2-way poppet
(Figure 1, Item 4) from manifold assembly (Figure 1, Item 5).
END OF TASK
