Screed Crown Motor Hydraulic Hose Removal -- Continued.
CAUTION
Tag and label hydraulic hoses prior to removal. Hydraulic hoses must be installed correctly for
proper operation. Failure to comply may cause damage to equipment.
1. Disconnect hydraulic hose 110 (Figure 1, Item 2) and hydraulic hose 111 (Figure 1, Item 3) from screed
crown motor (Figure 1, Item 5), and cap/plug hydraulic hoses and hydraulic fittings.
2. Disconnect hydraulic hose 110 (Figure 1, Item 2) and hydraulic hose 111 (Figure 1, Item 3) from main
bulkhead (Figure 1, Item 1), and cap/plug hydraulic hoses and hydraulic fittings.
3. Remove hydraulic hose 110 (Figure 1, Item 2) and hydraulic hose 111 (Figure 1, Item 3) from bracket (Figure
1, Item 4).

Auger Lift Hydraulic Cylinder Hoses Inspection
1. Inspect hydraulic hoses (Figure 1, Items 2 and 3) and fittings for cracks, holes, wear, or deformities. Replace
hydraulic hoses if damaged.
2. Inspect hydraulic fittings on screed crown motor, bulkhead, and hoses for cracks, stripped threading, wear, or
deformities. Replace component if damaged.

Screed Crown Motor Hydraulic Hose Installation
1. Install hydraulic hose 110 (Figure 1, Item 2) and hydraulic hose 111 (Figure 1, Item 3) into bracket (Figure 1,
Item 4).
2. Remove caps/plugs from hydraulic hoses (Figure 1, Items 2 and 3).
3. Connect hydraulic hose 110 (Figure 1, Item 2) and hydraulic hose 111 (Figure 1, Item 3) to main bulkhead
(Figure 1, Item 1).
4. Connect hydraulic hose 110 (Figure 1, Item 2) and hydraulic hose 111 (Figure 1, Item 3) to screed crown
motor (Figure 1, Item 5).

FOLLOW-ON TASK
1. Verify proper operation.
2. Dispose of hydraulic oil and wiping rags In Accordance With (IAW) local Standard Operating Procedure
(SOP).
