Screed Extension Vibrator Hydraulic Hose Removal -- Continued.
CAUTION
Tag and label hydraulic hoses prior to removal. Hydraulic hoses must be installed correctly for
proper operation. Failure to comply may cause damage to equipment.
1. Disconnect hydraulic hose 125A (Figure 1, Item 15) and hydraulic hose 126A (Figure 1, Item 16) from left
screed extension vibrator (Figure 1, Item 14) and left screed extension (Figure 1, Item 17).
2. Disconnect hydraulic hose 125B (Figure 1, Item 8) and hydraulic hose 126B (Figure 1, Item 9) from right
screed extension vibrator (Figure 1, Item 7) and right screed extension (Figure 1, Item 6).
3. Disconnect hydraulic hose 106 (Figure 1, Item 4) from screed extension vibrator flow divider (Figure 1, Item
10) and right screed extension (Figure 1, Item 6).
4. Disconnect hydraulic hose 105 (Figure 1, Item 5) from screed vibrator return block (Figure 1, Item 12) and
right screed extension (Figure 1, Item 6).
5. Disconnect hydraulic hose 107 (Figure 1, Item 13) from screed vibrator return block (Figure 1, Item 12) and
left screed extension (Figure 1, Item 17).
6. Disconnect hydraulic hose 108 (Figure 1, Item 11) from screed extension vibrator flow divider (Figure 1, Item
10) and left screed extension (Figure 1, Item 17).
7. Remove four nuts (Figure 1, Item 2) and loop clamps (Figure 1, Item 1) from screed bolts (Figure 1, Item 3).
8. Remove hydraulic hoses (Figure 1, Items 4, 5, 11, and 13) from screed.
9. Cap/plug hydraulic hoses (Figure 1, Items 4, 5, 8, 9, 11, 13, 15, and 16) and hydraulic fittings.
END OF TASK
Torque Hub Hydraulic Hose Inspection
1. Inspect hydraulic hoses (Figure 1, Items 4, 5, 8, 9, 11, 13, 15, and 16) and fittings for cracks, holes, wear, or
deformities. Replace hydraulic hoses if damaged.
2. Inspect hydraulic fittings on screed extension vibrators, flow divider, return block, and hoses for cracks,
stripped threading, wear, or deformities. Replace component if damaged.
END OF TASK
Screed Extension Vibrator Hydraulic Hose Installation
1. Install four loop clamps (Figure 1, Item 1), hydraulic hoses (Figure 1, Items 4, 5, 11, and 13), and nuts
(Figure 1, Item 2) onto screed bolts (Figure 1, Item 3).
2. Remove caps/plugs from hydraulic hoses (Figure 1, Items 4, 5, 8, 9, 11, 13, 15, and 16) and hydraulic
fittings.
3. Connect hydraulic hose 125A (Figure 1, Item 15) and hydraulic hose 126A (Figure 1, Item 16) onto left
screed extension vibrator (Figure 1, Item 14) and left screed extension (Figure 1, Item 17).
4. Connect hydraulic hose 125B (Figure 1, Item 8) and hydraulic hose 126B (Figure 1, Item 9) onto right screed
extension vibrator (Figure 1, Item 7) and right screed extension (Figure 1, Item 6).
5. Connect hydraulic hose 106 (Figure 1, Item 4) onto screed extension vibrator flow divider (Figure 1, Item 10)
and right screed extension (Figure 1, Item 6).
6. Connect hydraulic hose 105 (Figure 1, Item 5) onto screed vibrator return block (Figure 1, Item 12) and right
screed extension (Figure 1, Item 6).
