Screed Extension Hydraulic Cylinder Hose Removal -- Continued.
CAUTION
Tag and label hydraulic hoses prior to removal. Hydraulic hoses must be installed correctly for
proper operation. Failure to comply may cause damage to equipment.
1. Disconnect hydraulic hose 96 (Figure 1, Item 2) and hydraulic hose 94 (Figure 1, Item 3) from right screed
extension hydraulic cylinders (Figure 1, Item 5).
2. Disconnect hydraulic hose 99 (Figure 1, Item 6) and hydraulic hose 100 (Figure 1, Item 7) from left screed
extension hydraulic cylinders (Figure 1, Item 8).
3. Disconnect hydraulic hoses (Figure 1, Items 2, 3, 6, and 7) from main bulkhead (Figure 1, Item 1).
4. Cap/plug hydraulic hoses (Figure 1, Items 2, 3, 6, and 7) and hydraulic fittings.
5. Remove hydraulic hoses (Figure 1, Items 2, 3, 6, and 7) from brackets (Figure 1, Items 4 and 9).

Screed Extension Hydraulic Cylinder Hose Inspection
1. Inspect hydraulic hoses (Figure 1, Items 2, 3, 6, and 7) and hydraulic fittings for cracks, holes, wear, or
deformities. Replace hydraulic hoses and hydraulic fittings if damaged.
2. Inspect hydraulic fittings on hydraulic cylinders, bulkhead, and hoses for cracks, stripped threading, wear, or
deformities. Replace component if damaged.

Screed Extension Hydraulic Cylinder Hose Installation
1. Install hydraulic hoses (Figure 1, Items 2, 3, 6, and 7) into brackets (Figure 1, Items 4 and 9).
2. Remove caps/plugs from hydraulic hoses (Figure 1, Items 2, 3, 6, and 7) and hydraulic fittings.
3. Connect hydraulic hoses (Figure 1, Items 2, 3, 6, and 7) to main bulkhead (Figure 1, Item 1).
4. Connect hydraulic hose 96 (Figure 1, Item 2) and hydraulic hose 94 (Figure 1, Item 3) to right screed
extension hydraulic cylinders (Figure 1, Item 5).
5. Connect hydraulic hose 99 (Figure 1, Item 6) and hydraulic hose 100 (Figure 1, Item 7) to left screed
extension hydraulic cylinders (Figure 1, Item 8).

2. Verify proper operation.
3. Dispose of hydraulic oil and wiping rags In Accordance With (IAW) local Standard Operating Procedures
(SOP).
