Flight Screw Handle Assembly Installation
1. Install flight screw handle assembly (Figure 1, Item 1) on flight screw thread assembly.
2. Install bolt (Figure 1, Item 3) and new locking nut (Figure 1, Item 2) through flight screw handle assembly
(Figure 1, Item 1) and flight screw thread assembly.

1. Remove flight screw handle assembly (perform steps 1 2 of Flight Screw Handle Assembly Removal task).
2. Remove two bolts (Figure 2, Item 4), nuts (Figure 2, Item 10), lock washers (Figure 2, Item 3), and screed
control box assembly (Figure 2, Item 1) from flight screw mounting bracket (Figure 2, Item 2) and set aside on
secure surface, being careful not to damage cables. Discard lock washers.
3. Remove three bolts (Figure 2, Item 5), lock washers (Figure 2, Item 6), outer ring (Figure 2, Item 7), and flight
screw assembly spacer (Figure 2, Item 8) from flight screw mounting bracket (Figure 2, Item 2). Discard lock
washers.
4. Remove bolt (Figure 2, Item 12) and locking nut (Figure 2, Item 14) from flight screw thread assembly (Figure
2, Item 9). Discard locking nut.
5. Remove flight screw ball joint (Figure 2, Item 13) from mounting bracket (Figure 2, Item 11).
6. Remove flight screw thread assembly (Figure 2, Item 9) from flight screw mounting bracket (Figure 2, Item 2).
