TROUBLESHOOTING PROCEDURES
CAUTION
All active fault codes must be investigated prior to replacing the engine Electronic Control Module
(ECM). Failure to comply may cause damage to equipment.
NOTE
Some sensors share harness wiring. Malfunctions in certain sensors or in the engine ECM may
cause false errors to display because of this shared wiring. For this malfunction (SPN#100,
FMI#1), harness wiring is shared by the engine oil pressure switch, the barometric pressure
sensor, and the engine coolant temperature sensor.
