CUTOFF SHOES REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION
CAUTION
The Bituminous Material Paving Machine (BMPM) cutoffs cannot be lowered when the cutoff
shoes are installed. Failure to comply may cause damage to equipment.
NOTE
The BMPM is equipped with cutoff shoes that will enable the operator to pave an area that is
only 6 feet (ft) wide.
The procedure for installation and removal of the cutoff shoes is the same whether being
performed on the left side or right side. Left side shown.
