Hydraulic
oil
can
be
moderately
flammable and can be an irritant to the
skin, eyes, and respiratory system.
Avoid prolonged exposure. Eye
protection and rubber gloves must be
worn when working with hydraulic oil.
7.
INSTALL VALVE SPOOL.
a.
Dip valve spool (8, 9, 10, or 11) in clean bath of
hydraulic oil.
b.
Install valve spool (8, 9, 10, or 11). Using
crowfoot wrench (Item 122, Appendix D) and
socket wrench adapter, tighten valve spool to 30
lb-ft (41 N•m).
8.
INSTALL ELECTRICAL COIL.
a. Slide electrical coil (7) onto valve spool (8, 9, 10,
or 11).
b. Install hex nut (6) and tighten to 18 lb-in (2 N•m).
