DISCONNECT HYDRAULIC HOSES.Cleaning solvent, P-D-680, is TOXICand flammable. Wear protective gogglesand gloves. Use only in a well ventilatedarea. Avoid contact with skin, eyes, andclothes, and do not breathe vapors.Keep away from heat or flame. Neversmoke when using solvent; theflashpoint for Type HI cleaning solvent is200°F (93,3°C). Failure to do so mayresult in injury or death to personnel.If personnel become dizzy while usingcleaning solvent, immediately get freshair and medical help. If solvent contactsskin or clothes, flush with cold water. Ifsolvent contacts eyes, flush eyes withwater and get immediate medicalattention.Thoroughly clean hydraulic hoses andfittings before disconnecting. Alwaysplug or cap off disconnected fittings toprevent intrusion of contaminants.Failure to properly clean and cap offconnectors may result in hydraulicsystem contamination and equipmentdamage.a.
