Place machinery wiping towel along side screed
lift cylinder (3) to catch any hydraulic oil that will
leak from hoses when disconnected from
cylinder.
Hydraulic
oil
can
be
moderately
flammable and can be an irritant to the
skin, eyes, and respiratory system.
Avoid
prolonged
exposure.
Eye
protection and rubber gloves must be
worn when working with hydraulic oil.
d.
Disconnect hydraulic hoses (1 and 2). Plug hose
ends.

Drain hydraulic oil from screed lift cylinder into a
utility
pail.
Dispose
of
hydraulic
oil
and
contaminated
machinery
wiping
towels
in
accordance with local procedures. Cap cylinder.
