INSTALL.1.INSTALL ACCUMULATOR AND FITTINGS.a.Wipe pipe threads of elbows (5), straightadapter (6), and pipe nipple (11) withcleaning cloth to remove pipe sealant.WARNINGPipe fitting sealant can cause eyedamage or skin irritation. Wash afterskin contact. Wear safetygoggles/glasses when using. Avoidcontact with eyes or skin. If sealantcontacts eyes, flush eyes with waterand get immediate medical attention.b.Apply pipe sealant to pipe threads ofelbows (5), straight adapter (6), and pipenipple (11).c.Install and tighten elbows (5), straightadapters (6 and 9), and pipe nipple (11)onto cross (10). Hose fittings of elbowsmust be in line with adapters.WARNINGHydraulic oil can be moderatelyflammable and can be an irritant tothe skin, eyes, and respiratorysystem. Avoid prolonged exposure.Eye protection and rubber glovesmust be worn when working withhydraulic oil.CAUTIONBe careful not to damage preformedpacking when sliding over threads.Sharp edges of thread can cut ordamage preformed packing.Damaged preformed packing willcause leakage and affectperformance.d.Lubricate preformed packing (12) withhydraulic oil. Install preformed packing onstraight adapter (9).e.Hold straight adapter (9) with an open endwrench. Screw accumulator (1) ontostraight adapter.
