Oils can burnwhen in contact with very hotsurfaces or if ignited when releasedas a spray. Keep ignition sourcesaway. Provide adequate ventilation.Wear protective clothing/ equipment.a.Allow engine to cool before disconnectingoil pressure transmitter (42) and oil filterdifferential pressure transmitter (43).b.Place machinery wiping towel below oilfilter.c.Tag and unplug oil pressure transmitter(42) from DCA harness.d.Remove oil pressure transmitter (42) andplug opening in mating tee to preventcontamination.e.Tag and unplug oil filter differentialpressure transmitter (43) from DCAharness.f.Tag and disconnect hoses (44 and 45)from oil filter differential pressuretransmitter (43). Plug hoses to preventcontamination.g.Remove hex head cap screws (46) andflat washers (47). Remove oil filterdifferential pressure transmitter (43).Discard lockwashers.h.Place oil filter differential pressuretransmitter (43) in a bench vise. Removeelbow (48) and straight adapter (49) fromoil filter differential pressure transmitter.i.Wipe up oil spillage with cleaning cloths.Leave machinery wiping towel in place.GO TO NEXT PAGE7-122
