TM 5-3895-373-20 B. INSTALL Continued. 3. INSTALL LUG TERMINALS AND RING TERMINALS ONTO SWITCH PANEL COMPONENTS. a. Install ring terminals (3) onto emergency stop switch. Secure ring terminals with terminal screws (5). b. Apply electrical insulating compound to terminals on horn switch. Install lug terminals (4) onto horn switch. NOTE Wires for truck hitch (not used) are to be insulated from each other and taped together. c. Install ring terminals (3) onto switches. Install lockwashers (2) and terminal screws (1) onto switches using the jeweler’s screwdriver set. Electrical insulating varnish fumes can be harmful if inhaled. Use only in a well-ventilated area. Avoid prolonged exposure to fumes. If personnel become dizzy or drowsy during use, get immediate medical attention. d. Apply electrical insulating varnish to ring terminals (3).
