To avoid personnelinjury, use a hoist or get assistancewhen lifting the control console andshaft.d.Lift assembled guide shaft (27) andoperator control console (8), and set endsof shaft in slots on console support (31).Ensure shaft is centered in right and leftconsole supports.e.Install flat washers (29) onto hex head capscrews (28).WARNINGThread locking compound can causeeye damage. Wear safetygoggles/glasses when using. Avoidcontact with eyes. If compoundcontacts eyes, flush eyes with waterand get immediate medical attention.f.Apply thread locking compound to threadsof hex head cap screws (28).g.Install hex head cap screws (28), washers(29), and clamp caps (30) into consolesupport (31). Tighten cap screws to 90 lb-ft (122 N•m).h.Check and adjust operator control console(8) per step B.2.j through m in paragraph11.4.i.Slide operator control console (8) to left asfar as it will go and lock handle (7).GO TO NEXT PAGE7-51
