Install flat washer (11) and lever (10) on pivot of
mounting bracket (9).
Use care when removing retaining
rings. Retaining rings are under
spring tension and can act as
projectiles when released and could
cause severe eye injury.
i.
Install retaining ring (8) using snap ring pliers.
Thread locking compound solvent
can cause eye damage. Wear safety
goggles/glasses when using. Avoid
contact
with
eyes.
If
solvent
contacts eyes, flush eyes with water
and get immediate medical attention.
j.
Clean threads of hex head cap screws (6) with
thread locking compound solvent.

Apply thread locking compound to threads of
hex head cap screws (6).
l.
Install ratchet (7) and secure with hex head cap
screws (6). Tighten cap screws to 37 lb-ft (50
N•m).
