f.
Adjust height of prestrike plate (6) by tightening
or loosening self-locking nuts (4) on lock pins
(10). Adjust until bottom edge of prestrike plate
is 1/4 in. (6,4 mm) above the ground along
entire length.
g.
Tighten self-locking nuts (7) to 40 Ib-ft (54 N•m).
2.
INSTALL STRIKEOFF PLATES.
a.
Install strikeoff plate (3), flat washers (2), and
self-locking nuts (1). Do not tighten self-locking
nuts.
