TM 5-3895-373-2015.2.REPLACE SCREED CONTROL BOX- Continued.C.INSTALL - Continued.e.Install ring terminals (16) onto emergency stopswitch and secure with terminal screws (15).f.Apply electrical insulating compound to indicatorlight terminals and insert electrical contacts (14)onto indicator lights.Electrical insulating varnish fumescan be harmful if inhaled. Use only ina well ventilated area. Avoidprolonged exposure to fumes. Ifpersonnel become dizzy or drowsyduring use, get immediate medicalattention.g.Install ring terminals (13) to switches and securewith lockwashers (12) and terminal screws (11).Refer to wiring diagram for either right or leftscreed control panel. Apply electrical insulatingvarnish to ring terminals, lockwashers, andscrews.Adhesive is TOXIC and extremelyflammable. Keep away from heat,sparks, and open flames. Use only inwell ventilated areas. Do not breathevapors or swallow and avoid contactwith eyes and skin. Failure to do somay result in injury or death topersonnel.If personnel become dizzy whileusing adhesive, immediately get freshair and medical attention. Ifpersonnel swallow adhesive, do notinduce vomiting. Get immediatemedical attention. If adhesivecontacts eyes, flush eyes with waterfor 15 minutes and get immediatemedical attention. If adhesivecontacts skin, wash thoroughly withsoap and water.h.Apply adhesive to panel seal mounting surfacesof screed control box (9).i.Install panel seal (10) to screed control box (9)by fitting panel seal over components andpressing onto adhesive.j.Install tie wraps as needed.k.Install screed control panel (8) and secure withbutton head cap screws (7).GO TO NEXT PAGE15-18
