Shutoff engine and remove key from ignition switchper paragraph 2.11.b.move right access cover and open center topright access door per paragraphs 2.24.5 and2.24.1.CAUTIONCleanliness is extremely importantwhen adding hydraulic oil. Addhydraulic oil in a clean area protectedfrom blowing dust, dirt, and otherdebris. Failure to do so may result inexcessive component wear or failure.c.Use a cleaning cloth (Item 1, Appendix D) andwipe dirt and any foreign material from area ontop of hydraulic reservoir (1) around hydraulicreservoir cap (2).d.Unscrew hydraulic reservoir cap and set capaside.Hydraulic oil can be moderatelyflammable and can be an irritant to theskin, eyes, and respiratory system.Avoid prolonged exposure. yeprotection and rubber gloves must beworn when working with hydraulic oil.e.Check for any foreign material accumulated infiller neck strainer (3). Notify Unit Maintenance ifany foreign material is observed.f.Add hydraulic oil (Item 6, Appendix D) tohydraulic reservoir until oil level in reservoir isnear top of combination sight liquid indicator (4).g.Replace hydraulic reservoir cap and turnclockwise until tight.h.Wipe up any spilled hydraulic oil with a cleaningcloth (Item 1, Appendix D). Dispose ofcontaminated cleaning cloth in accordance withlocal procedures.i.Install right access cover and close center topright access door per paragraphs 2.24.6 and2.24.2.3-22
