WARNING
Be sure area surrounding BMPM is clear of personnel and objects before moving the unit,
opening hopper wings, lowering screed, or deploying screed extensions. Sound unit horn before
moving unit from stopped position. Turn on beacon when unit is in motion. Failure to comply may
cause injury or death to personnel or damage to equipment.
9. Allow track tensioner hydraulic cylinder to push front idler forward to tension track.
10. Stop BMPM engine (TM 5-3895-385-10).
11. Set BATTERY DISCONNECT switch to OFF (TM 5-3895-385-10).
END OF TASK
FOLLOW-ON TASK
1. Lower BMPM to the ground.
2. Remove lifting device.
3. Install tow point hydraulic cylinder (WP 0231).
4. Verify proper operation.
5. Dispose of hydraulic oil and wiping rags In Accordance With (IAW) local Standard Operating Procedure
(SOP).
