Conveyor Covers Installation -- Continued.
WARNING
The chain guard plates weigh 52 lb (24 kg) each. Two personnel are necessary to lift component.
Failure to comply may cause injury or death to personnel.
CAUTION
Properly support the item being lifted. Failure to comply may cause damage to equipment.
1. Install conveyor chain guard plates (Figure 2, Items 4 and 7) and six bolts (Figure 2, Item 6) on BMPM with
assistance.
2. Install rear chain guards (Figure 2, Items 3 and 10), front chain guards (Figure 2, Items 5 and 9), 24 bolts
(Figure 2, Item 1), and new lock washers (Figure 2, Item 2) on BMPM.

The conveyor chain guard front assembly weighs 65 lb (29 kg) each. Two personnel are
necessary to lift component. Failure to comply may cause injury or death to personnel.
CAUTION
Properly support the item being lifted. Failure to comply may cause damage to equipment.
3. Install conveyor chain guard front assembly (Figure 2, Item 8) on BMPM with assistance.

FOLLOW-ON TASK
1. Remove lifting device.
2. Install hopper front flashing (WP 0259).
