Hydraulic Generator Removal -- Continued.
8. Remove two bolts (Figure 3, Item 2), lock washers (Figure 3, Item 3), and flat washers (Figure 3, Item 4) from
mounting bracket (Figure 3, Item 5). Discard lock washers.
WARNING
The hydraulic generator weighs 123 pounds (lb) (56 kilograms (kg)). Use a suitable lifting device.
Failure to comply may cause injury or death to personnel.
CAUTION
Properly support the item being lifted. Failure to comply may cause damage to equipment.
9. Remove two bolts (Figure 3, Item 6) and lock washers (Figure 3, Item 7) from mounting bracket (Figure 3,
Item 8), and remove hydraulic generator (Figure 3, Item 1) from Bituminous Material Paving Machine (BMPM)
with assistance. Discard lock washers.

1. Install hydraulic generator (Figure 3, Item 1), two bolts (Figure 3, Item 6), and new lock washers (Figure 3,
Item 7) onto BMPM with assistance.
2. Install two bolts (Figure 3, Item 2), new lock washers (Figure 3, Item 3), and flat washers (Figure 3, Item 4)
onto mounting bracket (Figure 3, Item 5).
