6. Install nut (Figure 1, Item 1), new lock washer (Figure 1, Item 2), and negative cable (Figure 1, Item 3) onto
starter upper stud (Figure 1, Item 4).
7. Connect battery unit power cable (Figure 1, Item 31) onto positive battery terminal (Figure 1, Item 29).
8. Connect battery unit ground cable (Figure 1, Item 32) onto negative battery terminal (Figure 1, Item 30).

FOLLOW-ON TASK
1. Install cable ties where necessary.
2. Install engine hood assembly removed (WP 0433).
3. Verify proper operation.
