CAUTION
Install the oil pan within 10 minutes of installing the sealant or it will not seal correctly. Once
installed, let sealant dry for 30 minutes before running the engine. Failure to comply may cause
damage to equipment.
3. Apply a 1/16-inch (in) (2-millimeter (mm)) bead of sealant to oil pan mounting surface where front gear case
(Figure 3, Item 1) and rear gear case (Figure 3, Item 3) mate to engine (Figure 3, Item 2) block.
