CAUTION
Tighten the 18 cylinder head mounting bolts in sequence shown in Figure 7. Tighten bolts in three
steps each to ensure even tightening and complete seal between cylinder head assembly and
engine block. Failure to comply will cause damage to equipment.
5. Torque 18 cylinder head mounting bolts (Figure 6, Item 1) in sequence shown in Figure 7 to 66 ft-lb (90 Nm).
6. Torque 18 cylinder head mounting bolts (Figure 6, Item 1) in sequence shown in Figure 7 to 80 ft-lb (108 Nm).
7. Torque 18 cylinder head mounting bolts (Figure 6, Item 1) in sequence shown in Figure 7 an additional 90
degrees.
