Variable Auger Charge Pump Removal -- Continued.
1. Remove two bolts (Figure 1, Item 3), lock washers (Figure 1, Item 4), and variable auger charge pump (Figure
1, Item 2) from coupler (Figure 1, Item 5). Discard lock washers.
2. Remove two bolts (Figure 1, Item 7), coupler (Figure 1, Item 5), and O-ring (Figure 1, Item 6) from propulsion
pump (Figure 1, Item 1). Discard O-ring.
NOTE
Note orientation of fittings for reinstallation.
3. Remove fittings from variable auger charge pump (Figure 1, Item 2).
END OF TASK
Variable Auger Charge Pump Installation
1. Install fittings onto variable auger charge pump (Figure 1, Item 2) as noted in removal.
2. Install two bolts (Figure 1, Item 7), coupler (Figure 1, Item 5), and new O-ring (Figure 1, Item 6) onto
propulsion pump (Figure 1, Item 1).
3. Install two bolts (Figure 1, Item 3), new lock washers (Figure 1, Item 4), and variable auger charge pump
(Figure 1, Item 2) onto coupler (Figure 1, Item 5).
END OF TASK
FOLLOW-ON TASK
1. Install engine (WP 0323).
2. Verify proper operation.
3. Dispose of hydraulic oil and wiping rags In Accordance With (IAW) local Standard Operating Procedure
(SOP).
