Depth Screw Installation -- Continued.
NOTE
The locking nut on screed extension bolt is not meant to be over-tightened. There should be just
enough space to allow the end gate to tilt.
7. Install new locking nut (Figure 2, Item 6) onto screed extension bolt (Figure 2, Item 5) until the locking nut just
touches the end gate (approximately three threads of the screed extension bolt will be showing).
8. Tighten jam nut (Figure 2, Item 8) onto depth screw bracket (Figure 2, Item 7).
