CAUTION
Do not overtighten the component in an attempt to stop a leak. Overtightening can result in
increased leakage. Always tighten fuel pressure relief valve again to specification. Failure to
comply may cause damage to equipment.

MALFUNCTION
TEST OR INSPECTION
CORRECTIVE ACTION
1. Multiple fault codes.
1. Install fuse box (WP 0277, Vol
2).
2. Connect battery cables (WP
0357, Vol 2).
3. Start engine (TM 5-3895-385-
10) and idle for 1 minute.
4. Check active engine faults
1. If fault code SPN#1347, FMI#4,
screen for multiple fault codes.
SPN#1347, FMI#3, or
SPN#633, FMI#31 is displayed,
turn keyless engine switch to
OFF (TM 5-3895-385-10), and
proceed to appropriate
troubleshooting procedure.
2. If other fault codes are not
displayed, turn keyless engine
switch to OFF (TM 5-3895-385-
10), and proceed to next
malfunction.
2. The fuel pressure sensor fault.
1. Disconnect the engine Electronic
Control Module (ECM) wiring
harness fuel pressure sensor
connector W25 C6 from fuel
pressure sensor (WP 0451, Vol
3, Figure 45).
2. Inspect the fuel pressure sensor
1. If damaged, replace the fuel
for damage or leaking.
pressure sensor (WP 0337, Vol
2).
2. If not damaged, proceed to next
test.
3. Inspect the engine ECM wiring
1. If damaged, replace the engine
harness connector W25 C6 and
ECM wiring harness W25 (WP
connector pins for damage.
0334, Vol 2).
