ASSEMBLE - Continued.
f.
Using spanner wrench, rotate cylinder head (1).
Locate retaining ring groove in milled opening
(3).
g.
Insert retaining ring (2) hook-end first into milled
opening (3). Ensure retaining ring catches in
retaining ring groove.
h.
Rotate cylinder head (1), in same direction that
retaining ring (2) was inserted, 1-1/4 turns to pull
in retaining ring. Ensure retaining ring is fully
seated.
NOTE
FOLLOW-ON-TASK: Install hopper lift cylinder per TM 5-3895-373-20.
