Avoid prolonged exposure.Eye protection and rubber glovesmust be worn when working withhydraulic oil.a.While another person holds drip pan to collecthydraulic oil, disconnect high pressure caps fromelbows at ports #6 and #7. Allow all oil to drainfrom open elbows. Dispose of oil in accordancewith local procedures.b.Remove plugs from hoses (3 through 9) andcaps from mating elbows at ports #1 through #5.c.Wipe threads of hose and port elbows dry withclean cleaning cloths.Hydraulic fitting sealant can causeeye damage or skin irritation. Washafter skin contact. Wear safetygoggles/glasses when using. Avoidcontact with eyes or skin. If sealantcontacts eyes, flush eyes with waterand get immediate medical attention.d.Apply hydraulic fitting sealant to threads ofelbows at ports #1 through #7.
