Wear protective goggles andgloves. Use only in a well ventilated area.Avoid contact with skin, eyes, and clothes,and do not breathe vapors. Keep awayfrom heat or flame. Never smoke whenusing solvent; the flashpoint for Type IIIcleaning solvent is 200°F (93,3°C).Failure to do so may result in injury ordeath to personnel.If personnel become dizzy while usingcleaning solvent, immediately get fresh airand medical help. If solvent contacts skinor clothes, flush with cold water. Ifsolvent contacts eyes, flush eyes withwater and get immediate medicalattention.Thoroughly clean hydraulic hoses andfittings before disconnecting. Alwaysplug or cap off disconnected fittings toprevent intrusion of contaminants.Failure to properly clean and cap offconnectors may result in hydraulic systemcontamination and equipment damage.a.Use cleaning solvent and cleaning cloth toclean around hydraulic fittings at extensionscreed vibration motor (5).b.Place machinery wiping towel below hydraulicfittings on extension screed vibration motor.Hydraulic oil can be moderatelyflammable and can be an irritant to theskin, eyes, and respiratory system. Avoidprolonged exposure. Eye protection andrubber gloves must be worn whenworking with hydraulic oil.c.Tag and disconnect hoses (6 and 7) fromelbows (8). Plug hoses and elbows.
